Toyota Iraq, through Al-Bar Company, authorized to use the trademark of Toyota in the city, has inaugurated a new center marking a significant step in strengthening the presence of the Japanese brand across Iraqi governorates. The opening ceremony took place on December 15, 2025, in Wasit Governorate and represented an important milestone in advancing sales, service, and spare parts offerings. The new center provides residents of the governorate with direct access to Toyota’s latest facilities, developed in line with the brand’s global standards.

This initiative comes as part of Toyota Iraq’s ongoing efforts to expand its network and deliver integrated services to customers across multiple regions. The Kut facility is the second center for Al-Bar Company, following its first center in Al-Numaniyah, which opened on November 17, 2024. This expansion reflects the company’s growing operations and its increasing role in implementing projects with sustainable impact. The approach is driven by a vision that places customer experience at its core, through the development of advanced centers that embody Japanese quality and support local partners. The expansion also aims to encourage investment in the automotive sector and to strengthen service infrastructure in line with the aspirations of the Iraqi market, while extending the brand’s presence into new governorates.

The ceremony was attended by several local officials, including Dr. Dhargham Ismail Al-Awadi, Chairman of the Wasit Investment Commission, Mr. Sardar Al-Bebany, Chairman of Toyota Iraq, and Mr. Tadashi Tanimoto, Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Iraq. Guests toured the new facilities to review the modern service equipment and the original spare parts department, and speeches were delivered highlighting the importance of the project and its role in enhancing services for Toyota vehicle owners in Wasit Governorate.

Specialists highlighted the Toyota showroom designed to welcome customers, as well as the certified service facility equipped with advanced technologies that align with global standards. The center also offers a wide inventory of genuine spare parts and provides technical consultancy services delivered by a specialized team, ensuring quick response times and improved service efficiency.

The opening of this project reinforces Toyota Iraq’s direction toward expanding its network and supporting local economic development through direct investment in service infrastructure. It also reflects the company’s commitment to delivering high levels of quality and building customer trust by establishing showrooms, service centers, and ensuring the availability of genuine spare parts in areas experiencing growing demand for Toyota vehicle sales and services.
